Question, with the shipping and import fees/taxes from Amazon.com, would it have been cheaper than just pre-ordering it locally? Just wondering.

Good question. Overall, they ended up being slightly cheaper by a dollar and change to get from .COM than .CA. On .CA they are listed as $35.99 CAD each. After tax and free Prime shipping, the total would be $40.67 CAD each. More if you don?t have Amazon Prime.

After shipping and import fees, Dragstrip from .COM ended up costing me $39.66 CAD (29.72 USD)

Kickback ended up being $39.55 CAD (29.72 USD). The price difference is due to fluctuations in the exchange rate at the time Amazon billed me.

FYI, I preordered locally. Dragstrip was 33.99 before taxes.

$42 sounds like too much for two of them.

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

It is. I recall last year I got a few core classes around ~15 all in and even that seemed too much. The fair price in my mind for core is 9.99 cad + tax

but ~20 cad total seems to be the going rate for core these days. This is the cheapest and most easily accessible I've seen iguanus for a Canadian buyer since he was released.
