True, KO's are direct copies, but sometimes there's that blurry line where 3rd Party sits. While they aren't straight copies of existing figures, they usually do heavily resemble copyrighted characters and sometimes go as far as using the actual names of those characters. It's hard to say how far Hasbro and China are going to crack down on this stuff. If 3rd Party ends up disappearing, I'll probably give up on collecting Transformers.

I’d imagine they are gunning for third party too. I would if I created a character and someone else blatantly used the image without my permission with the intent to profit.

That said I don’t think it will work. A lot of countries to produce toys in. I’m sure Laos would welcome all.
