Eventbrite tickets
Just a general question for the staff - couldn't find an answer to this in the FAQ, and wasn't sure where to look.
EventBrite has a mobile app that allows you to have mobile versions of the tickets, with the QR code. Will these be accepted at TFcon, or do we need PDFs of the tickets on our smartphones or even printouts instead?

Re: Eventbrite tickets
I don't know anything about phone apps, since I still have a basic cell phone; but I would print up the tickets just in case they have an issue with the application, or your phone has an issue. You just never know where you may have service or not have service.

Re: Eventbrite tickets
They did say that you just needed the ticket on your Phone in another thread.

Ah. As there's having the PDF on your iPhone, and having the EventBrite app tickets on your iPhone. Which are kinda two different things (I did both to be safe)

Re: Eventbrite tickets
I didn't know about that app. Thanks for that Tekno!
Hopefully it is good enough for TFcon, because it is pretty slick for keeping the tickets organized on the phone.

Re: Eventbrite tickets
Yeah; they would need a QR code reader of some kind on their end to read that, but it is a really nice app.
Came in handy at Calgary Comic Expo when I left my weekend pass on the bus on the Sunday, as I still had the ticket on me.

Re: Eventbrite tickets
Having an electronic version of your ticket will work fine.

Re: Eventbrite tickets
I asked the same question and was told bring ID.
The only draw back would be: if I forgot the phone at home
