2009 CNE Air Show
This year is pretty special for Canada considering this year we celebrate our 100 years of flight. The CNE air show was no exception giving us some special aviation treats to entertain us for a few hours. No there was no Avro Arrow but there was some special additions to the show this year. A F-86 Sabre and CF-18 Hornet with special commemorative "100th anniversary" paint jobs were displayed as well as for the first time ever flying at a Canadian Air Show the US navy's Blue Angels. Damn were they impressive, on par with the air force's Thunderbirds.
Honourable mention goes to the F-22 pilot who was crazy...some impressive flying and really showed what that machinery was capable of in the right hands.
Definitely one of the better shows in recent years. So who went?

Sorry to troll, but I hate the Air Shows/Formula 1 or anything loud coming from the CNE since I can hear it so loudly! Grr...

Re: 2009 CNE Air Show
Well the best part is you don't have to go to the CNE to watch the show, just sit down along the lakeshore infront of the CNE and enjoy for free...or do I did and take a van full of food and drinks, pay the $25 to park there, open up the back hatch, and relax in your own vehicle.
May help to mention how much I enjoy air shows as they've been an annual past time since I was round 12.
