Go to your local ATM before coming to TFcon
Just a quick reminder, over a thousand people will be at TFcon Saturday, most of them will be spending lots of money in the dealer room. Many of them will not be bringing enough money and will be making a trek to the hotel ATM and will empty out the hotel ATM. Don't be part of the problem, take out cash before you get to the hotel!

Yes - I'll be going beforehand.
Then I'll go the Friday night, and Saturday morning. I'm wary about carrying as much cash as I'll need on my flight, especially since most will get spent quickly.

Protip: Instead of going to your ATM, go INTO your bank itself before the con this weekend. Most ATMs only give a max 400-500 bucks a day while inside you have no limit at an ACTUAL teller.

Here's another hint...
If you're worried about carrying a lot of money in a wallet in your pants pocket, or in a purse...
I went to a travel store and bought a pouch that hangs around my neck and under my shirt. Unless you're wearing a tight shirt, nobody will be able to see you have this pouch, so you won't look goofy.
I feel a lot safer keeping cash in there, because even if someone steals my wallet or I forget my purse on the bus, my money is physically attached to me. There's almost no chance of it being lost or stolen.
