So I recently picked one of these guys up and I'm not clear on which batteries to use. According to a video I saw on YouTube, it says a 14500.

Anyone know if this is the right battery or can suggest one that they've used that works?

I don't think those the correct batteries, those are 800 mah (milli-amp-hour) and you need 14500...if I understand correctly from the review videos, these 'specialty' batteries are 'roughly' AA sized but a special high capacity. BensCollectibles for example talked about it in his review.

Oh and don't user the wrong battery or charge it...someone had it explode, injure them, and nearly set fire to their collection!

Another reviewer that talks about this is "bots and bits" (via Youtube)

I ran into the same problem with Amazon as it wouldn't come up properly. I picked this one up from Canadian Tire and it works perfectly
