Re: TFcon 2013 Charity Project (Group B): Enter the Vehicons!
the chromed gats would look pretty good and armor him up a tad more.

Re: TFcon 2013 Charity Project (Group B): Enter the Vehicons!
I was worried that I was falling behind but now that I have a second coat of purple down, I think Strika will be ready on time. More purple, metallic blue, and some orange/yellow to help break it up and she'll be good.
I used my new airbrush to get the pimer coats on but it ate through paint like nobodies busyness. I'm using regular paint brushes for the actual colours because of that. I hope it will turn out better than I'm worried it will since my brush hand is nowhere near as clean as an airbrush.

Don't worry Stapler, you aren't very far behind at all.
On a related note, Obsidian is going well. I think I need to completely scrap the leg assembly and build a new one from bits of bots. This will greatly thin out his frame in Alt Mode and allow him to have an even more "Flying Robot Scorpion from HELL" robot that I am trying to achieve.

Just put thinner coats down, you can clear coat it too, that would help smooth it out.
As for falling behind, I'm still painting (drybrushing)the metal bits, and if I get time will try some glow effects.
I know I started of quickly but I knew it would take me a while, other time commitments you know. I have spent more time than I thought I would though. I had to scrap the original cab mode I was using as I wasn't happy with it.

Re: TFcon 2013 Charity Project (Group B): Enter the Vehicons!
I'm hoping to do some more paint work this week on mine.
Need to paint the sides still as well as do some general touchups/details.

Re: TFcon 2013 Charity Project (Group B): Enter the Vehicons!
here's my contribution to the group, the one and only EXTRA General Spy Streak.
I'm thinking of trying to find other figures for a quick repaint so that all 10 are realized for the set, but more of that later.
Here's Spy Streak, a straight up repaint (my specialty) from Energon Sharkticon. It all just works!!! The head, the cannons looking like the one on the original's arm, etc. if you have any questions on how I did it, let me ask
Seeya at TFCon!!!!
PJP
PS: I'll post the robot mode later. I have to get to work now lol
UPDATE: Robot Mode pic is now up
