He's pretty good for what his cost was. The guns seem a bit too large in length for a minibot, but that's not really a gripe, just an observation. The pegs on the guns are a tiny bit loose for the fist holes but nothing that a dab of future won't fix.
Friction joints are good enough to hold poses, but the ball joints don't have quite the same range of motion as on the Legends version. I think I know where the culprits are though. In the shoulders, it seems like the shaft behind the ball is too thick so the arm catches the shaft, preventing more range of motion that the ball would otherwise allow. At the hips, on the back side of the leg at the top, the cup of that ball hinge hits the peg hole at the butt. This keeps him from being able to stand straight with legs together and forces more of an A-stance or a slightly squatted stance. I might consider sanding or dremelling down either a corner of that cup that clips onto the ball peg or shaving down the butt piece.
The wings tab into the torso fine, the arms tab into the wings in alt mode fine as well too, and although the legs do tab together in alt mode, they don't seem to hold together as tightly as the other tab connections. Overall though, he's a pretty good figure for as cheap as he was at this size.
I originally bought it as a stand-in for my MP collection, but obviously the design is not an MP aesthetic. He might be a better fit in a CHUG collection as he scales well with Generations/Classics Bumblebee, but he'll do well enough as a stand-in for the MP shelf. 7.5 or 8 out of 10. Hope you enjoy yours when you get it.
