EDIT -> ACTUALLY I just added a 2nd copy to the cart (attempting to repeat the process)
and it allowed me to finish the order only when I had two in the cart
(attempted to remove one, and watched it toggle from "available to ship" (or whatever) back to "out of stock")

So I put through the order for two copies, let's see if it actually works or if this discrepancy is actually just a website f*ckup

DOUBLE EDIT -> Double also, the search level now shows "almost sold out online!" under it (didn't say that earlier when I first saw it) - does this limited stock actually exist???

I was in a Walmart, and found Kingdom Voyagers, on the bottom shelf (1 x Cyclonus, 1 x Rhinox, 1 x Tigatron). On a whim, I asked the stock boy to scan Tigatron, and it came up through the Walmart App at $19.99 on clearance.
The Walmart.ca website does not have this figure listed.
It scanned at the cash at 37.99
So, after a brief yet heated argument with the manager that I was just told it was $19.99 (and providing photo evidence), I got it for that price.

Tigatron is a great figure, and I'm very glad to now have this mini-masterpiece in my collection.

Lucky. Walmart stores don't price match the Walmart website or app anymore.

If they give do you that guff in-store, they are wrong based on their own website. LOL.

Now, they do have a bunch of points that may be technicalities (like leaving it to some manager's discretion), so just normal WM things now, like trying to squeeze every dollar out of Canadians, ever since Target folded and competition dried up.

Well, shit. Thanks for that. I lost out on a massively discounted Wreck-Gar cuz they said they wouldn't price even match their own site.

Will Walmart continue to match Walmart.ca prices in store?

Yes, we will continue to match Walmart.ca prices for identical items purchased in a Walmart Canada store.

A few limitations apply:

The item must be sold and shipped by Walmart Canada.
Customers must inform the in-store associate of the price and online item they wish to match.
Supervisors may validate price match requests and have final decision to grant or reject price match requests.
The item must be currently in stock on Walmart.ca at the time the price match is requested (we will not offer rain-checks for items that are not currently in stock).
We reserve the right to verify the price and availability of the identical item (i.e. size, model, quantity, brand, and/or colour).
We reserve the right to limit quantities to one-per-customer, per item, per day.


That is fairly clear as day. Albeit, the bit about "must be in stock" is the kicker. A lot of the sale items are OOS when they do the rollback price!
