The only thing that baffles me about this is why Powerdive and not Ransack? Ransack was the rotorforce member that actually was a WWII plane. If anything Incinerator or Skyhammer would be a better fit for Powerdive (outside of the Energon Bulkhead mold which was such a perfect fit that I'm amazed it didn't happen).
Actually, I'd be cool with both of them using the Highbrow mold, too. It would be neat to see one that's dominantly purple with green accents and the other green with purple accents.

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 58 - Our Latest Masterpiece
I think you guys did an excellent job on the 3rd Party vs Botcon issue.
Then I stopped listening because I didn't want to be spoiled on Transformers Prime. I'll catch up later.
As for bad cartoon writing, it is difficult to get away from but I will say that the Prime writing from what I've seen makes it look literary when compared to the writing for The Clone Wars. TCW's writing is just aweful on almost every level.

Skyhammer...shit, you're right, that woulda been a WAY better fuckin choice...I WANT THAT NOW...don't think I can compromise otherwise now. Power Dive was one of my favourite TF toys I had growing up...played with him so much I snapped purple plastic off him all over.

I nearly died listening to your comment on Wheeljack on the way home this morning.

Same here. Powerdive was the very first transformer I ever bought with my own money as a kid. I wanted the all four of the rotorforce toys but Powerdive always stuck out to me and is one of my sentimental favorites.
I think they have one of the coolest pairs of names, too, if you go by their European names: Blitz and Dive.

It's clear that your subliminal messaging campaign for 2013 is working wonders Malwave.
What I meant to say in the show was that UltraPrimal, Chris and I were talking about Micromaster Overload. I really need to work on those brain farts of mine.

I was cycling through a ton of message board names in my head. I was sure it wasn't you, Ultra's name wasn't jumping around in my head that night sadly.
Stapler and GMFan you are totally right. But it seems like a customizer named Spurt Reynolds beat Hasbro/Takara to the punch.
