yuck i got raped for customs on mp22 from HLJ. Reissue wont be out for a couple months trying to see if someone is selling used now. Thanks for the posts though.

Sorry to hear that. I have never had customs hits on Asian orders, just from the US. Anyways, found another preorder, pretty good price:

Amiami's PO for MP-10 had closed long time ago.

I read here that others got they MP-22 from HLJ without getting hit by custom so it's a random draw. But in my experience any purchase from Japan that has declared value over $150 CDN (after exchange) has a higher chance of getting dinged.

Let's be realistic. You live in Canada. Anything you buy is subject to tax, whether you buy it in Canada or from oversea. If you don't get dinged, consider it a tax break
