Possible First Look At Transformers Legacy Deluxe Skullgrin Alt Mode

An a small image has been surfacing over the internet, giving us what seems to be our first look at the alt mode of the recently revealed*Transformers Legacy Deluxe Skullgrin. This is just a small image which looks like the back of Skullgrin’s packaging. We can spot the robot mode and below what looks like a Cybertronian tank mode. A very blocky alt mode with a twin-cannon on top. Let’s hope an official confirmation will show up soon. See the image after the break and let us know what you think about Skullgrin’s alt mode on the 2005 Boards!   » Continue Reading.

Ah yes, the old, tuck your arms in, and become a foot fronted tank alt mode...

I think even the small POTP skullgrin is better than this, at least it's a Pretender.

And the generation skullgrin is way better.

Man it seems it’s just me but I’m thrilled for this guy - isn’t it what we’ve always been crowing for, for Pretenders? Update articulation figures, who do the same alt modes as before (which also, G1 pretenders’ alt modes were a f*ckin laugh), and the bot mode is incorporating the pretender shell’s look as the representation?

Sure the tank mode is a bit sh*t, but again, so was literally every G1 pretender? MFer looks awesome to me, all I’d dream of to add would be an “inner bot head”, whether it’s under the skull head, or worst case swappable like the Creatures Collide beasts

Curious what happens with the head and if can form a body when removed.

Should have made this a Weaponizer for the amount of transformation this thing does.

I quite like it. As you say, it is basically an update on ACTUALLY terrible Pretender alt modes. "But this is 2022---" yeah well, whatever. I LIKE quirky weird stuff. Basically everything post season 3 TF was quirky and weird.

I like it. I ALSO like the previous Generations Skullgrin.

MORE BAPHOMET BOT

I like this better than Iguanas.
I have no strong connection to either character.
This Skullgrin, the head looks like it doesn't fit the body. I don't know why I still like this Skullgrin.
I'm hoping the transformation is slightly more complicated than combiner warsing the legs and tucking the shoulders in.
