Genrations Leader Class Speculations

Hey,

Now that Generations is doing leader scale figures, any ideas of what characters we might see down the line?

So far we have:
- Jetfire
- Thundercracker (Jetfire redeco)
- G1 Megatron
- Armada Megatron

I'm gonna assume we might see (IDW) Fortress Maximus or Overlord

There have been reports that we're getting an Ultra Magnus, but nothing official yet.

I'd love to see an IDW Soundwave in his new armoured assult vehicle mode.

"Leader" Class in size and price point only. The designs of the figures is mostly a blown up "Deluxe" figures of old. I don't mind no electronic light n sound, but all the hollow parts are just terrible results from costing cutting and dumbed down designs.

Leader Ultra Magnus is confirmed.

Expect a Leader Starscream repaint out of the Leader Thundercracker.

Cost of manufacturing is going up all around the world. I understand some of the cost cutting measures, hollow plastic, less paint apps. I am just happy Hasbro trying to service fans. Bring on combiner wars.

^ this, and I don't think we can't expect much more from these gen lines. Otherwise their cost would go up or profit margins would come down.

As I am a old collector and not much interested in this line, I may have a don't care attitude. But it would be interesting to see what some newer collectors think of the new lightweight TF's, I don't like the hollowing out.

Re: Genrations Leader Class Speculations

The way I see it is that whatever 3rd party is doing, Hasbro/Takara might counterattack soon. So since the hottest stuff beside combiner is dinobots, we might have Leader class dinobots.

Now that would be interesting, hasbro are you paying attention, though they may have missed the boat on that one !
