Anyone know if TRU is gonna sell the Target exclusive T-Wrecks here? Apparently it's extra exclusive in that it requires a Target Red card or something.

Tried to purchase one of those clearance-ing Selects HotShots

Listing shows available for Home Delivery, Added to Cart, go to checkout but now suddenly is out of stock
did a live chat w/ support, confirmed there is no actual stock of the item (rats)

Just tossing up (my quick support exchange) in case anyone else encounter the same issue attempting to check-out

I want to say I saw a post on TFW2005 where a user who has been credited with leaking TRU product listings before said that T-Wrecks was going to be a TRU exclusive here just like all the other Target Exclusives in the US.


The last Red Card exclusive was Red Wing and it made it to TRU too. I mean, it took the better part of a year before it finally showed up and was part of the early run of "it's only online and you'll almost never see it available unless you watch the site 24/7" figures, but it was there.


And just for edification, Red Card is Target's partnered credit/debit card program. But we can't get one here because you need a US mailing address for the credit card version or a US bank account for the debit one.

I've seen that happen before. I theorized that it's because the website's visible stock indicators are somehow separate than the "check inventory when you purchase" part of the ordering process and the former tends to lag. So the site says there's stock but when you get to the checkout and it has to actually take one out of inventory to sell to you, the system says "whoops, turns out there aren't any"


But I have nothing to confirm or validate that assumption.

Just a heads up that I double-checked and those Curbside# coupons for $10 and $25 off expire today. So if you're looking to order something you're gonna have to do it now.


And like what seems to be the case most of the time, in spite of the coupons saying they're valid for in-store and curbside orders only, they work for online ship-to-home too.



I just pre-ordered Kingdom Rodimus and got the $25 off (the final total after tax (for BC at least) is like $106 once you factor in the discount and free shipping)
