G1 Transformers Trading Event - Vancouver

Went to a G1 Transformers Trading Event tonight at Gotham and I must say it went well. Being that this was the first time I ever went to one of these things here in Vancouver, I wish we had them more often. Met a lot of collectors who shared the same passion as I do....

Does anyone know of any other events comming up like this in the near future here on the West Coast? Canada or USA?

Wow, I've always wanted to have one of those here in Ontario. Whenever there's a toy show here it's sell only. I like trading more than buying and would love to have a trading event.

There are probably enough board members going to the Burlington CCTE on the 25th that you could probably organize a trading party somewhere...

Ah... good point! It's a shame not too many store owners do this as a side thing from their everyday business. I got to say hats off to Gotham's for doing this and not making any money off it. For me, what it showed was a store owner willing to take a hit on his rent to hold an event like this and not charging a cent.

I actually considered stopping by to see if I can score some G1 parts and meet and reconnect with some fellow collectors. But my wife was rushed to the hospitol last night. She's fine now. Kidney stone. lol

Is Gotham planning on doing this again?

There were guys with G1 parts there trading and selling. All in all it was a good event and I'll be sure to show up at the next one.

I had it booked as well but a birthday took precedent. I really hope they do this again...
