Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!

I always thought that cybertron mode Animated Optimus Prime looked like he could be modded into a convincing helicopter. I hope that helps you guys.

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!

.........ya know that could actually be possible.

I was gonna say maybe use the Blackout mold...or even go one step further; does Blades necessarily have to be a helicopter? Why not a jet?

Even so, if worst comes to worst, I'm sure Ven could mock up an Animated-style head for Blades that could fit on the Universe figure.

Re: Attention Cybertron.ca Kitbashers!

Yea Blades was where I got stuck too...
Cybertron Prime isn't a bad idea, I dont have the figure to play with but it looks like it could work based off pictures... Flip him upside down, attach some blades to his knees and it would work...

The line up I had in mind was:
Hot Spot - Voyager Prime, Bulkhead or Leader Magnus depending on size comparisons though I really like the WreckGar nowl
First Aid - Swindle (Bay made Ratchet a humvee, why cant we) or Soundwave
Groove - Prowl
Streetwise - Bumblebee - I think Jazz is just too iconic a shape and Blurr and Lockdown too big.
Blades - had nothing before but I like the Cybertron Prime idea

I think Struxx parts would work really well here for connectors as the large ball shapes would fit in with the curvy Animated style pretty good...

Edit: So in less then 24 hours we seem to habe a solid start/idea of somthing from people spanning across the country. Why does it take my workers about 6 months to be this coordinated... sigh...

Wow! Those head designs are great! I especially like the ones for Blades and Hotspot.
