Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

Hi - new here (but been lurking a while). This thread inspired me to check out my local VVs. First try, found Classics Starscream, virtually new, but missing his guns, for $2! Two days later, at a different VV, found a G1 Bugly for $6, also missing his guns, but pretty pristine. Also found a junker Energon Scorponok for $7, but didn't buy.
Beginner's luck!

Not at Value Villiage, but our local Salvation Army, my wife just found this really nice condition G1 Wheeljack. Only 99 cents!

No accessories of course, but now I have 2!

Anyone need one?

Of late I got a G1 Roller, Cykill of Gobot fame, and a few A/E/C toys. Great to see so many people making finds!!!!

I've never found any Transformer of any kind at VV. I continue to look but to no avail.

Cool. If you flip it over, do the screws on the bottom (car mode) have rounded heads or flat heads?

They've been doing that a long time. They had destroyed final fantasy 7 and 9 there at eBay prices even tho the discs were beer coasters.

And don't ask what they charge for just a castle greyskull she'll without trap door or guts.

They are flat, why?

And upon further examination I believe that most of the stickers are Reprolabels. I Repro'd the one I have complete and they look the same. Except the hand stickers. I think those may be authentic. They're too translucent to be Repro's.

Anything is possible of course, but I doubt something that someone took the time to reprolabel would end up at a thrift shop. Reprolabeling is pretty much a collector centric endeavor and those collectors likely aren't giving their stuff to thrift shops.

Of course an angry spouse could have
