g1 ko quality control issues!
just had to vent and see if anyone else has had these problems. i know its prolly common and ive heard about these issues here and there, but didnt think itd happen to me. so i bought all these clear g1 ko reissues 2 years ago and decided to open them today....as i was pretty broed lol.
g1 slag - lower left upper thigh (assembled with right upper thigh), so i have a slag with 2 left thighs dammit
g1 clear optimus prime - just missing the hose and gas nozzle tip
the rest i havent had any issues yet but i havent transformered them yet (recolored tapes x5 sets, clear sludge, clear mirage x2)

Re: g1 ko quality control issues!
Are they really "issues" when they're knockoffs? Isn't that an oxymoron of sorts?

Re: g1 ko quality control issues!
I just recently purchased the clear Prime from KOToys and the only issues I have with it are the clear wheels don't roll smoothly and it can be a bitch to open the trailer halves but other than that all the parts are what they are meant to be and nothing was missing. besides I couldn't turn down $65 shipped as opposed to a Toronto pickup for $90

Re: g1 ko quality control issues!
When I bought KO Menasor, Wildrider's head/post assembly fractured and broke off when I tried to insert it into Motormaster's leg. I was definately pissed off...gluing it back didn't work either. So I bought a junker Wildrider for parts. It sort of worked....had to sandpaper the base of the post down a bit so it would fit into the KO Wildrider. Still not a perfect fit, but better than nothing.

Re: g1 ko quality control issues!
I haven't had any quality control problems with my KO Diaclone Red Mirage, KO Diaclone Blue Swoop, nor KO Metrotitan; however, keep in mind I carefully transformed them once and, subsequently, have only used them for display purposes.
Hope that helps any potential buyers.
