Masterpiece coins

Ok, so I finally got my Blue coloured Bluestreak and packed in the box alongside the boxed sealed figure was this coin.

Now I've bought other MP figures before and I've never gotten one of these coins. I keep my MP figures sealed so maybe that's why. This was in the same shipping box with the sealed figure box.

Are these supposed to come with every MP? Am I being jipped by not having received these before now?

They don't come in the sealed boxes, the come with the figures, outside of the boxes.
When you order the figure, you have to specifically order the one with or without the coin and the ones with the coins cost about $10 more. Plus it's only the figures from Japan that come with them so buying any local Hasbro Masterpiece won't get you one.

The MP collector coins are only available for the Asian market. This covers the markets outside of Japan.

Your supplier would have to buy from an Asian-based reseller (ie: Hong Kong) to get the coins.

he says he buys from N-Y I used to buy from there and I got the coins with every purchase sounds like you either got ripped off or you threw them out as they were in the shipping boxes

Then it looks like I got ripped off, because I never got one with Wheeljack, Exhaust, Magnus, Bumblebee, Smokescreen... and they weren't in the boxes witht he boxed figure, are they always separate?

That's odd. As far as I know Nippon-Yasan gets their MPs from Japanese wholesalers, in which case there wouldn't be a coin. I ordered an Ultra Magnus from them and it didn't come with one.

The blue Bluestreak was a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive in Japan limited to 2000 pieces so most or all retailers outside of TakaraTomy mall that offered it gets them from the Hasbro Asia source/wholesalers, which would come with a coin.

So if there were any other MPs shipped from N-Y with coins, they must have been sourced from the Asia wholesalers if/when they couldn't get a Japanese source or if they got shorted on stock.

I've never gotten any coins from Nissan Yasson - it's not in the description. I have gotten toys from Tony (chimchewinggum) and Action Robo, and paid accordingly. Ebay you can also find deals with the coins basically for free.

Masterpieces from Takara Tomy (Japan) don't come with the coin (as far as i know), but most masterpieces that come from the rest of Asia (China and Hong Kong) usually come with it, but not always.

So it would really depend on where your seller gets their Masterpiece transformers from.
