MP Bumblebee coming to TRU

I already have an MP Bee (courtesy of a fellow board member!) but I really do hope both the US and Canadian prices reported so far turn out to be bogus. If not, this will be a brand new low (or high, if you will) for TRU in terms of overpricing a product aimed at collectors.

Bumblebee would have to be plated in actual gold to merit that price point.

Keep in mind also that neither the US TRU or CND TRU computer price could be accurate as of right now and those prices could both change between now and release.

I wonder if store mgr can see what the cost of the product is.

Is it? I am almost inclined to think it's Hasbro that is making shit up and pass on a high cost to TRU who in turn will have to mark up the product to sell at retail. Big box retailers order products by case lot, not by individual UPC. There's nothing they can do if Hasbro is making shit up.

It can be both -- Hasbro imposing an inflated cost and TRU inflating it again at retail. But I'd be curious to know how that breaks down.

Maybe, that was how I found out TRU pays $75 CND for the Victorian and G2 CW Boxed sets.

I noticed the cost of Hasbro stuff went up at TRU...A 6inch black series Star Wars figure is listed at $27.99! Kinda high don't ya think?
