As for the mystery cart, it looks like a Famicom game placed inside a NES cart with an edge contact adaptor. Who ever did it ever drilled out the middle screw pin as to not interfere with the Famicom PCB.

I'm curious was it screwed together with the usual Nintendo reverse torx screws or were they normal?
I figured it was a fanicom game as well. The guts are very reminiscent of the old 31 in 1 carts you could buy with the adapter on them.

The center screw post has been removed and it is held together with two Phillips screws that do not even match.

Re: My first Complete Nes Reproduction

I'm still interested to see what logic Ic's there using.

here is a pic of a bootleg i found of the fds game, I assume some one in the 80's placed one of these in with an adapter in your cartridge.

edit,

Id value it less the $30, but no higher then $50. Supply and demand. As new repro of this fds game do exist. For as high as $50. With no donor parts. That also work on any version of the nes.

Re: My first Complete Nes Reproduction

There is quite a few SMB 2 Japan cart bootlegs in the market. A lot of multicarts also carry the game.

Just curious as different regions seem to have different amounts of boots. Around here, we seem to see the Super Mario Bros USA Boot. Plus as you mentioned on the Multicart, but again the USA version.

The ones up there, are they the FDS version of SMB 2?
