Re: MP Cassettes QC Issues
Other than some minor paint issues, all 5 of my MP cassettes are great!

I doubt it...unless Tak-Tomy purposely sends the factory seconds to certain places, which I doubt, it's just luck of the draw. More concerning would be the increasing rate of QC issues. For Masterpiece, especially from Takara, I expect a little better than what we've been getting. But it's just definitely a crap shoot - my MP Soundwave and Laserbeak were perfect.

They do mass produce this stuff, so I do understand that there is going to be the odd issue here and there but the quality has dropped off more lately.

the camera can be fixed easily, laserbeak had it on mine, just move it over with your fingernail in the direction it needs to go, and it will click right into place
the paint app issue if it is overspray, small dab of rubbing alcohol on either a q tip or a toothpick, soak for a min, and kinda scrape/rub it off, be careful not to hit the other paint though

Re: MP Cassettes QC Issues
Yeah mine are pretty great, I am though just leaving them in robot mode from here on so I don't risk anymore paint rubbing or anything.

Re: MP Cassettes QC Issues
My MP-13 is fine. Laserbeak was tight to transform at first try but it's likely just me being too careful.

Still a cool mold though.

I consider having the same gun or piledriver to be as big of a problem as mine.

That really sucks. Hopefully as joshimus said they are still looking in on it.

Re: MP Cassettes QC Issues
Seriously, what is up with Takara QC? I don't think I'm the only one worried about the Fort Max situation. My MP-11 Starscream's head was misassembled, my Lambor paint has an ugly glob... but those weren't dealbreakers. Is there going to be a breaking point?
I've got this feeling that BBTS is the only entity that can speak on the consumer's behalf. Hopefully they send back enough FMs and MPs to give Takara the idea that they need to shape up.
