Thumbs up G1/G2 Fans - Check This Book Out

I picked this gem up from Chapters online store. Looks like they released it early. It's almost 300 pages of box art from G1/G2, both Japanese, US and odd variants from around the world. Any fan of the vintage art work should get this. It's marked at $49.99 but its $32.92 online.

The book covers a lot. There were some omissions like the Dinocassettes but all in all, this book is an amazing G1/G2 resource. The Unreleased G2 Grimlock and Sludge variant art is so cool. Never knew it existed. The inclusion of Japanese box art was very comprehensive....[looking at brr-cy You need this man]. Here are some pics.

I have mine preordered through Amazon.ca. The ISBN info on the Amazon page says:

Re: G1/G2 Fans - Check This Book Out

Glad you all are liking this. One of my favorite aspects of this book is the organization of the Combiners. You have the combined mode and the individual pics all together fully labelled with their type i.e. Seasons, Predacons, Combaticons, etc...

By the way, page quality and size is above average. They didn't cheap out. Nice big glossy pages with rich colours.

If I had one gripe, it would be I wish there were more pics of real boxes but as the intro states, it was hard to photograph real boxes due to degradation of the original art work. Also would have been nice to include an index at the back for easy look up.
