Hopefully the wii u goes on sale sometime this year. $300 is a little much for my liking.

Honestly, if I didn't get it for Christmas, I don't know if I would pick it up for that price either. Especially with the news the other day that Nintendo is already working on their next console(and handheld). Which certainly sounds bad for the lifespan of the Wii U. But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't start working on the next one before the Wii U even came out.

Absolutely jealous of that SOC GaoGaiGar. I really wanted it, but a) I already have the (albeit much-inferior) CMS GGG v1, and b) I really can't justify the funds for it at this point in time. Maybe I might be able to later on, but definitely not now. I'm a sad panda...

I have the CMS GGG as well, and ya, was never impressed with it even when I first unboxed it back in the day. I can't really justify the funds either. It's compounded with MP Magnus and Legends Jetfire being released around the same time too. Sucks all that got charged on my credit card within weeks of each other, but that's the double edge sword with preorders.

Anyways, I was going to pass on the SOC GGG, but seeing it available to preorder on Amiami and knowing how much the price will jump to in the aftermarket, I made a game time decision.

Still kicking myself for passing on the SRC original Megazord. The only ones I can find now are like $100+.

Reminds me, I should check out Edge of Tomorrow. Heard good things.

Good call on it too. I was really lazy when I heard of preorders and stuff for it, and seeing as how the SOC release of GGG basically caused the value of the CMS versions to tank, I figured I'd just keep the CMS GGG, and probably jump on an SOC Genesic GGG whenever they release that one.
Then again, I'm buying a new house for this summer, so I unfortunately won't have too much hobby-related disposable income to blow on this kind of stuff in the short term.

I really like it. I'm a sucker for time-loop movies, so this one is great by my books. On a related note, the movie is based off of a Japanese novel/manga (called "All you need is kill"), and is an interesting read (at least, the manga) after watching the Hollywood movie, just for a bit more backstory if anything. The perspective and tone are significantly different, but it's noticing these differences that (I find) make it even more interesting.

And with this, I'm all Iron-Man'ed out. Well, almost. I have a preorder for the Mk.3 that'll be coming out this/next year to fill in the empty spot in my collection of "character-worn-suits" (I have Mk.1/2/4/5/6/7, War Machine, Iron Patriot, Silver Centurion and now the Mk.42).

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to own more of these suits, but I can't keep up with these. They're coming out faster than ever, with too many exclusives and overall getting way too expensive.

^ The thought of a SOC GGGG and possibly SOC GFG is one of the reasons I initially hesitated on GGG. I actually like those designs more.

I commend your collection of "character-worn" Iron Man suits. That's not something you can buy on a whim and keep on buying. With the new house and some time maybe you'll end up getting them all and have room to display them lol.

I've got Hot Toys on the mind as well with the Batman Armoury, but I would rather get the version with Bruce and Alfred. But it's gonna take a long time to get the resolve and funds for something that expensive. Some day.
