Not-Reflector: Perfect Effect SFX vs. TFC Photron

I am thinking of picking up a Not-Reflector set for my CHUG collection and trying to decide whether to preorder the new TFC Photron from Automaton or find a Perfect Effect SFX set from somewhere. I really like the look of the PE figures as they are closer to the G1 characters, but I just can't get over their tiny size. What I like about the TFC set is that the camera looks pretty realistic, and I feel fits better with the rest of my modern-G1/CHUG collection, even though the look of the figures themselves is not quite as close to the originals. I am almost sold on Photron, but can't seem to find anywhere that shows their height in relation to other figures.

Does anyone know how tall they will be, or have a photo comparing them to another figure? Any other comments or opinions about the sets?

The pe figures are perfect in everything other than size, I can't get over the bot modes on photron, which sucks, because I love reflector lol

Sounds like a few of us are in the same position, we like Photron's alt-mode and size, but prefer the robot mode on the PE figures.

I have a black PE set from TFCon last year, and I think I'm going to pick up photron, that way I have one of "each". Although who will be my classics reflector...I'm not sure yet.

I have the PE set and have the TFC guys on order. I am unsure as well who to display with my classics lineup. Guess I'll know when I have both sets

Perfect Effect... It says it in the name, they are perfect. Well like brricy said, maybe a little small, but still really good.

If you don't mind some minor customing there is always the knock off oversized PE ones too...
