Shipping charges are added once they confirm they have it in stock. Just be sure you are ready to pay for the item since they don't like customers who cancel too often.

Their huge warehouse SAHRA (Sawara) is fully automated and ships the item right away. You even know how much the item will cost including shipping. Their POS system is amazing. See https://youtu.be/69gToA0a1iA
Wow that's impressive. Thanks for the info, a new place to shop.

You are welcome! I could not believe it myself. I was fortunate to visit their physical shop in Japan. It's any collector's dream - part museum and part shop.

The site is legit and they spend time to inspect each item for defective or counterfeit product.

Question Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

I watched the Sahra YouTube video. A company that puts that much money and effort into ther sales and warehousing system must be legit. They are now added to my links of places to buy figures.

Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

Mandarake has been around a looong time, well since 1980 anyway. kind of an online onsignment place.

the Japanese and English sites are not the same. sometimes get smoking deals. Japanese side usually has the best deals, but I've heard they wont ship outside Japan. never actually tried.

the trick to searches though is to google translate search terms then cut and paste into the site. one can find all sorts of toys on there.

Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

Are their shipping charges reasonable? I tried to place an order but then was told the shipping cost will only be provided once I confirm my order.

Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

From my experience, they are very fair on shipping (using SAL registered). The best way to avoid any bad surprise is to shop at SAHRA, since shipping is precalculated, but then you might miss some good deals elsewhere.

I think you can ask for a shipping quote before, but the item might gone. Stock is moving fast...

Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

If you don't mind KO version, it might worth waiting. (Personally I don't like beast wars series a lot, so I didn't bother pre-order MP Primal. )
So I'm waiting for the new Weijiang KO of MP Primal. It will be bigger, and I read there will be improvement as well, like elbow covers, as usual, it should be cheaper too.

Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

Well, I orded one from Mandarake for 9000 yen, so about $105. Now I just have to wait for the invoice with the shipping info. I picked the cheapest shipping method so hopefully it won't be much more than $120 or so.

Because A) I may not be going to the con this year. I may use the money to go see Metallica since I haven't seen them since the Black Album was new. And B) I was VERY disappointed in the con last year. There was just way too much 3P stuff, and guys selling new figures that will be out in Canadian stores a few weeks for twice retail price. I bought more NON-TF stuff at TFCon last year than Transformers stuff. Very little vintage and almost no Beast Era stuff.

If you happen to live in St. Catharines, or another such "St." city, sometimes online forms need users to enter such city names without the "."

So, instead of "St. Catharines" try "St Catharines".
