Re: Just saw transformers the last knight

Anyone who's been to a galaxy theatre... are there any promotional / tie in items that go along with the movie? Ie. cup toppers etc?

Re: Just saw transformers the last knight

The transformers maker can make transformers they don't need the original transformers.
I'm guessing cade yager put some transformium into bumblebee. Just like the tucci' s character made transformers in Aoe.

Can't remember any graphic human deaths like TJ Miller vs Lockdowns grenade.
There is some innuendo, and one scene that sounds like sex scene.
Lots of robot violence, some slow robot deaths.

Re: Just saw transformers the last knight

Trash. Saw it in VIP.

I'll see it again in IMAX.

Cool things:
1 - That Decepticon roll call from Megatron was super awesome! Love that opportunity. Wasted, but a great setup.
2 - I never lost track of the main plot of the movie. AOE had maybe 3 main plots that didn't really tie in together. This has 1. Lots of sub-plots, never realized, I agree, but one main thing.
3 - Decent human kid interaction at the beginning. I thought that was funny!

Re: Just saw transformers the last knight

I just hit my threshold of watching these Transformer movies. I've supported this as much as I can tolerate. Streaming from here on in.

Oh rotten tomatoes is down to 16% now lol I think it's a fair rating.

- Can we have a movie about Transformers? Instead of humans...
- Action was pretty good
- The jokes/humor painful experience
- Prime and Megatron 5 mins each on screen?

Re: Just saw transformers the last knight

Saw it IMAX 3D last night. The theatre was barely at 25% capacity. Empty seats everywhere.
I probably won't give it a 2nd watch when it's available online. I don't think I'd go to another Transformers movie in the theatre, TBH. I missed the last 2, went to this one.

I thought it was boring and had no issues getting up during the movie to empty the tank.

Hot Rod... WTF?
Bumblebee being able to put himself back together... Huh?
Who the eff were these random decepticons supposed to be? Lame rip off concept of Suicide squad
Mini tie-fighters chasing them thru the abandoned town?
Optimus and Megatron hardly in the movie... Transformers at all being featured in the movie! The movies should be renamed to Marky Mark and the Transforming Bots, because they're just the backup band to him in these movies.
The Unicron tie-in was a massive let down. Ugh....
The guy from Arrested Development was annoying and totally unnecessary.

The Transformer knights were cool
The lead actress is Megan Fox's doppleganger w/ a british accent, not a bad thing. Easy on the eyes

https://www.cineplex.com/News/Quiz-P...film-franchise

I got 9 out of 10 correct. The only wrong answer was "how many Academy Awards have the Transformers films been nominated for?"...I would have gotten it right if it was ask about the Razzie.
