This happened a couple of weeks back when their system went down for the weekend for 'upgrades'.
I had a package coming to me that was tracked all the way to Canada, updated in Toronto, then after the 'updates' all of a sudden there was no tracking available at all.

I just received something from Malaysia yesterday that I couldn't track down. I thought it was lost but seems Malaysian mail is a bit delayed recently so just hang in there. Call Canada Post customer service and speak to someone who can look it up for you over the phone.

It is almost 5 weeks. They must have sent it by SHIP.

Never sent anything EMS from China, but from Japan it usually takes around 3 days, but I've had it take 7-10 days before as well.

4-5 days, sometimes 3 if you're really lucky.

Japan through EMS takes a day for me which is super fast. I hope china is the same
