Hasbro exclusives?
Does anyone know if Hasbro will be selling at the show? They've brought SDCC exclusives to fan expo before so you never know.
In particular, I'm dying to get Bruticus and not pay eBay kinds of prices.
Thanks!

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
I'd say there'e likely zero chance of this happening. As far as I know the Fan Expo thing was a one shot deal, and for the few years I've been going I don't think Hasbro's sold anything at TFCon.

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
Good to know. Thanks! And I'm actually in Brantford right now!
Now I just have to track down Bruticus!

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
I asked Hasbro and the rep left me a message that they would be at fanExpo but would not be bringing stuff to sell with them.

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
But you have to remember that Hasbro reps are idiots and to Hasbro we're not as important as little kids that love bumblebee.

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
I figured the Hasbro Booth might have some T-shirts and Hats for sale, and some retail figures to promote the Hasbro Toy Shop online.
As for exclusives? Unless they've got truckloads of them left over from somewhere else that the absolutely have to get rid of, I'd doubt it.
If they sell anything, it'd all be available at retail now or within the a month.
That being said, it might be worth checking out, seeing as some stores have been skipping waves in the PRiD releases due to the sea or Bee.
On the other hand, Hasbro's booth might just be a sea of Bee. Who knows.

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
If by booth you mean a table with stuff we already know about, but not for sale, with a rep who knows nothing about Transformers, then yea, good possibility.

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
Hasbro did have the 1st wave of Universe 2.0 Deluxes for sale in 2008. It was suppose to be in advance of retail, but Walmart beat them by a week.

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
Last years table was a joke. 3 tf prime fe deluxe figures...prime megs and bumblebee...a kreon prime ,ultimate prime and a few other items...it was quite an insult. If you go through in to TFCON thinking you'll see anything awesome you will be very disappointed indeed. I wish someone would post a pic of last years Hasbro booth.

Re: Hasbro exclusives?
I don't have any high hopes for Hasbro bringing anything to TFcon. I'm sure that if Hasbro did bring any of the SDCC exclusives to TFcon, a dealer will probably buy up all of them before the show even opens and then turn around and resell them at their booth. That's more or less what happens at BotCon. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people at BotCon who waited until Sunday, or even Saturday, and were running to all the dealers asking for that popular souvenir set because the store was sold out and only being able to find it for two or three times it's original price.
