Re: Transformers References in Pop Culture

The movie "The Great Outdoors" with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd features that kid from the Wonder Years playing with a Sixshot.

(Was the MacGyver one on your list?)

Maybe next year this would be a 2-hour panel????
I had all the Family Guy ones, all the Robot Chicken ones, Macguyver, the quick Starscream alt mode cameo in Top Gun when Goose sees his family, some more comic book panel scans, but again time was a factor. Just like my video game panel of last year and this year, I can go on and on and on

I don't have the movie - just saw it on TV. I'd say it's in the last half of the movie, maybe even the last quarter. Just before Candy and Akyroyd have their big argument, the kid is sitting on the sofa fiddling with sixshot. Not even sure if he knows how to transform him.

Re: Transformers References in Pop Culture

I did not see the panel as i didn't go to TFCON this year, hope fully next year.

The only two Transformers references i can think of is that the black eyed peas have a bunch in their E.N.D album with boom boom pow having the word Cybertron and Sumdac and the music video for imma be has giant robots and transforming speaker lady's.

Also another one i saw on TV a while ago was in the movie Matilda and the nice teachers father was named Magnus and he would always call his daughter bumblebee.
