ZOIDS, Technozoids & Robostrux Discussion

Anyone here collect or build Zoids? They were these model toy kits that were released in 2000 that you had to build yourself. They were also released in the 80's under the lines Zoids2, Technozoids and Robostrux.

If anyone has any for trade or sale, please PM or e-mail me!

Otherwise, feel free to discuss here. The 25th Anniversary re-issues are already out and look amazing!

My brother and I used to have a few pieces from the original Japanese ZOID line in the 80's, including a huge Sauropoda-like one. They are all gone now, of course... too bad. I did pick up quite a few pieces a couple or so years back when Walmart was clearing them out for a few bucks each right after Christmas.

I use to love Zoids, with the little gold men that use to sit inside the cockpits, Man brings back memories, I might check out ebay and purchase a few for old times sake.
I us to have the big red triceritops one, and a few little wind up ones.

Go look for the Japanese releases... I think they have even re-issued/will re-release a few of the original line from the 80's.

I really like the original kits though... esp. the wind-up ones.

Re: ZOIDS, Technozoids & Robostrux Discussion

I loved the little wind up guys, I am going to start my collection by getting all the ones I use to have, Plus the only big one my parents were ever able to afford was the Red Horn, so that was a must to get again. I loved playing with that thing.

Zoids are one of those toys that should be re-released. They were cool. I noticed that the latest Lego Creator Creatures sets look similar to Zoids. There's a Stegosaurus, a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a spider.
