Batman 3

I did not notice a thread for the 3rd Chris Nolan Batman film, so I started one!

I know there is not too much information on it yet, so I thought I would get the ball rolling by naming someone that I think would make an excellent Joker for the movie.

It is still unclear if Nolan will be including a Joker in the third movie. Some say he will not, other say that it is a possibility.

I personally am conflicted on the idea of recasting the role for obvious reasons. However if the character is to be recast, I do think that Christian Camargo would make an excellent Joker. Fans of the T.V. show Dexter should know who this is. I don't want to give anything away if someone has not seen the show.

Personally, I think that if they used Joker again, the movie will get a lot of flak from fans and movie goers alike. Have Joker put in Arkham Asylum and in the shadows (maybe somewhat cg) have a line or two, just to homage Heath one last time, but don't full all out use him with another actor.

Anyhow, Bat's girl is dead, he is on the run...... maybe it's time to introduce the next love interest, aka Catwoman.

You can't have Batman without Joker. I'm not sure if it would fly to recast him right away, so I'd wait a movie or two before bringing him back. I like Protoman's lurking in the shadows in an Arkham cell idea too. There's also rumours that Johnny Depp is going to play Riddler for the next movie.

The problem is the way they are trying to play out Batman now is VERY serious, so it's why I can't see characters like Mr. Freeze, The Riddler or even The Penguin showing up..... not without some MAJOR changes.

^^^^Same could have been said about the Joker. I think Riddler would work out just fine. Basically a psycho that tells you what sadistic things he is going to do but in riddles. Easy and the options are limitless with that typeof character.......he doesn't have to wear green spandex with question marks heh.

As far as I'm concerned Joker can not appear in a live action Batman movie for a very, very long time. I think Catwoman would be a good fit for where the story was going at the end of the TDK. And I would like to see how Riddler would be portrayed in this series, it would be nothing like Jim Carry from Batman Forever that's for sure.

I think that using Mr. Freeze would be a really good idea if the character is based around the one established in the Animated Series. That Mr. Freeze would fit Nolan's world very well. One of the best Batman villains in my opinion.

Personally I think that Riddler along with Catwoman for the love interest makes the most sense. Especially since Batman is now a hunted fugitive, makes a relationship with Catwoman more plausible.

Also, knowing Nolan he will probably throw in a side character for shits and giggles. Maybe Mad Hater?

Batman has been a staple in my account box for a long time. And it goes a little something like this:

Joker schemes.
Batman stops him.
Joker goes to Arkham.
Some new guy schemes.
Batman is confused.
Batman goes to Arkham
Batman looks for Joker. (Arkham is very dark and confusing, So this takes a while, he really should make an appointment.)
Batman sees other villains which are played out as fan service.
Batman Finds Joker.
Batman and Joker play word games.
Batman gains insight from Joker.
Batman stops new bad guy.
Batman is hero.
OMG Joker has escaped from Arkham.

Repeat as necessary. Or adapt into a series of books staring Hannibal Lector.
