I've developed one major rule for when I sell on Kijiji. If you're coming to me to pick up the item, we can negotiate on price. If I'm travelling at all for you, then you pay whatever I'm asking.

I find it frustrating dealing with boardies.

So many times there's a complete lack of consistency on how tfs are valued depending on if they're buying or selling.

Some guys will come up with Every reason in the world why your asking too much but then you check their bst or see them post on cl and they're asking a premium on everything.

Trading on here is honestly the worst.

I try to be reasonable, and so far others I've dealt with on the boards here seem to also try to be reasonable. But like any group of people, there will be some good, some mediocre, and some not so good.

I probably land somewhere in the mediocre or something. Probably because I dislike haggling.

I mean, I'll look at a BST and if the asking is too much for me, I just don't pursue it and give others the opportunity. I'd rather do that than ask if the seller would take something significantly lower. Sure, I might lose out on something I could have picked up for a steal, then so be it.

Don't give up on us all just yet.
