anybody know of a place that sells the entire unopened case of lego minifigures? I went to TRU and a swarm of lego fanatics destroyed the boxes and packaging through intense molestation.

or does someone want to split a case?

Anybody else lose interest in the hobby after they've obtain their holy grail. I pretty much have zero want to buy anything after getting a hold of darksyde megatron and all the g2 combiners.

That's the semi-retirement mentality. I had that prior to going to Botcon. But Once I went, it reignited my interest in the hobby.

Try Splash Toys! in Steveston Village. They always seem to have an abundance of sealed LEGO minifigures. A bit over priced but they are kinda out of the way and relatively unknown except for locals and tourists on nice days.

I was like that with Classics Devastator (G1 green repaint of Energon Constructicon Maximus/Buildron). Acquiring him began the decline in interest for my CHUGs as a whole which led to me selling it all off and refocusing on Masterpieces and G1s. Got a few MPs on preorder now but if Has/Tak announced MP Sunstreaker, Jazz and Megatron 2.0 then I'd be winding that down as well.

I don't get it, why would your interest be less if they announce more figures? I can understand if you have nothing left you need to buy but do you mean you're not interested in those potential MP releases?

I've personally slowed down a lot, I only buy older figures once or twice a year and am in no hurry to purchase my last remaining grails. But I'm still enjoying keeping up with the latest releases I'm interested in. As long as Generations and MPs keep going, my interest in the hobby will be strong. I may skip out on future cartoon lines for lack of space more than anything, and I'm pretty much done with Movie TFs.

No, I meant I'd snap those guys up like they were rocks and I was a crackhead mayor since those particular MPs would certainly bookend my collection and I couldn't think of anymore MPs I'd want after those (Sunstreaker because Sideswipe needs his bro, Jazz because he's a G1 Season 1 must have, and Megatron 2.0 because Optimus 2.0 is what started my MP collection).

Ohh, haha yeah alright, makes sense. I'm personally intested in whatever they bring out MP-wise but I suppose I have to give it up sometime. Still holding on to my Unicron Trilogy figures because of sentimental value, they're part of what got me into the hobby. But I can't keep putting my money into this forever, eventually car expenses, wedding costs, mortgage payments and kids will need more attention than transforming robots.

Let me say this: There's no such thing as the Holy Grail in fandom.

Some may think Hasbro MP-10 is the MP holy grail now but in a few years there when there's a another new MP Prime, we'll all go nuts again.

Personally I wouldn't lose interest in my hobby over all. I'd just lose interest in certain line. I'll always love G1 and MP but have comepletely lost interest in Bayverse. Same thing with Gundam. I have zero interest in any non-UC, but I will always love everything Zeon.

On some level I have to thank Hasbro for keep cheapening out. I really save a lot after Generaions/FOC line. To me right now, it's MP or nothing. I love my toys but I'd love my own home and car soon too.
