I can't wait to see what MP Wheeljack will be like when Takara finally announces it and shows us the prototype. The Generations/United WJ was really awesome already.
I hope the transformation will be dead on like this.
And he better comes with a bunch of his crazy inventions from those G1 episodes too

Considering the Lambos and Datsuns only came with a couple weapons and small bonus items, I think we'd be lucky to see any inventions, but I think we can count on his basic weapons. They've been pretty reliable with the transformation schemes so far too so I have no doubts it will be accurate. I hope his proportions are a little bit more stylized than the Generations mold though, I don't like how short and stubby he looks.

Considering Fiat owns Lancia, and VW/Porsche didn't want to be associated with war machines during the alternators era, does anybody think MP Bumblebee may end up being a fiat 500

Lamborghini is also owned by Volkswagen through Audi, so I think all bets are off. And even if they can't get the license for the Beetle I'm sure they could do a 'close enough' version. I think Takara would rather not do MP Bumblebee at all than make it a Fiat 500.
Plus, if the Bayverse could get away with using the Audi R8, officially licensed in the movie and 'close enough' for the toy, I think they can probably do a Beetle.

Yeah, since they OK'd the Countach which they own now, I'm sure the classic Beetle will be used for BB. Though honestly, a Fiat 500 wouldn't be a horrible choice - I'd say they it's a more appropriate car for BB than they've used in the last few years. But since they got the classic licenses for the MPs so far, I think they will end up using the classic Beetle.
