Re: TRYPTICON OWNERS UNITE AND SAVE!!!!
CobraCommander is right. The coupon discount gets allocated proportionately to all items. Can return with gift receipts if still worried.

yep the receipt for each item shows the retail price, and then in the column beside it "refund price" which should be the prorated amount

Take a look at your receipt on something that you used with a coupon, you should see a refund value column. That + taxes is what you will get in return.
Example in the case of 3 Trippys the refund value is $153.xx for each item.

Re: TRYPTICON OWNERS UNITE AND SAVE!!!!
What's printed on the receipt is irrelevant, they'll just do a new one reflecting what you actually end up buying. You had to commit to buy 2 items to get them at those prices. If you don't fill up the requirements anymore, you'll pay full price for the item you're keeping and get a refund for the balance. Otherwise you'd be stealing from the store. That's like buying something at Canadian Tire, collecting the Canadian Tire money, returning the item for a full refund and hoping to keep the Canadian Tire money. Won't work!

Buying is the requirement, not keeping.

Again, that's irrelevant. The final transaction is the one that matters. Try it for fun, and share the results with proofs.

Dunno how that would work. They are not going to allow you to return one Trypticon and keep a free one. If they do, stupid them and please let me know if they do :P

Re: TRYPTICON OWNERS UNITE AND SAVE!!!!
There is no FREE Trypticon. The one you keep costs $172.26. Think of it as a 33% off coupon

This 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. What is on the receipt is totally relevant IF someone tried to return it. Would it be ethical? No it wouldn't but TRU has to assign a $ value to it to make the deal work properly.
