I got both MP-21 and 21G from Japan for about $50 each.

I wouldn't blame on TRU though. Retailer set their selling price based on their cost from a supplier or vendor. Blame is on Hasbro. But then VW probably wanted a lot more money from Hasbro than from Takara for the branding licence.

Forget Hasbro and TRU. Most fans would have gotten the Takara one for much cheaper already.

That price makes absolutely no sense. Hopefully, it is a placeholder in the system.

Toys R Us would be on crack if they were to try and sell him at that price. I've been hunting for an MP BB(with the facemask) for a while and have yet to find him for a decent price. I settled for MP G2 BB for $40 at BotCon and I was ABOLUTELY SHOCKED when I opened the box! HE IS TINY! Like I new he was supposed to be small, but holy hell! He's like scout-sized! $140 for a scout sized figure is just insane, even if they included all the accessories like the exosuit, jetpack, battlemask, etc.

I already have the Takara version. I am planning to pick up a second one to display with the battle mask, but I won't buy it at TRU if that price is accurate. 50$ is my max. Above that, no sale.
