I'm not a big Lego guy by any means but within the past week or two I've bought 6 of the 7 Monster Fighters sets that have come out. This series just does everything right for me and I love it.

Again, while I enjoy it very much, I'm not even that big of a fan of Ironman overall... but these toys are just really nice, and the suits are well-designed.

Funny, this has been my "thing" for the past week-and-a-half, and I've already spent about $700.

It's scary when collecting habits come to a point where you don't even blink about plunking down $200+ for a toy.

You... don't want to know. Haha. j/k.
Actually, though, it's more that my toy-buying has really been at a low since last year's TFCon.

Anyhow, I've never really been the type of collector to work on a budget; I find that basically means lots of missed opportunities. So if I see something I like/want, I just buy. Though I gotta admit, though neither of us come from wealthy families or anything, having both myself and my fiancée being both pretty well-off job-wise ourselves helps a lot (I'm a computer engineer, she's a chartered accountant).

But just you wait! I'll be dropping payment for yet ANOTHER Hoy Toys Ironman in a few days.

Re: Post your hauls

Nice haul from Japan.

- Metal Build Freedom Gundam [MISB, from Yahoo Auctions Japan]
- Tamashii exclusive - Robot Damashii Strike Rouge + IWSP [MISB, from Bandai Tamashii Webshop]
- Tamashii exclusive - Armor Plus Kourin no Seiji (Sage of the Halo) [MISB, from Bandai Tamashii Webshop]
- Tamashii exclusive - Armor Plus Suiko no Shin (Cye of the Torrent) [MISB, from Bandai Tamashii Webshop]
- Tamashii exclusive - SH Figuarts Scryed Kazuma Final Form [MISB, from Bandai Tamashii Webshop]

One more Armor Plus Ronin Warrior to go!
One more SH Figuarts Scryed figure to go!

Funny. I go through this major drought of toy purchases since July 2011, and suddenly, within a week's time, I receive almost $1500 worth of rare/exclusive toys.

First haul in a LONG time:

More Lantern goodness! I never thought they would actually make it to retail here, but TRU had both 2 packs sitting on the shelf.

Dude! Never put the price in your quote. It just gives them wimmen-folk ammo if ever needed.
