I never ask for the price because sometimes, for some odd reason, retailers fuck up and give it to me a very low price. Especially on new stock.

This might be a dumb question, but is there anyway to get TRU or Walmart to price match Costco? Does anyone know if it worked for Metroplex?

You could try, but I think they will laugh at it as Costco does not advertise and TRU and Walmart state they will only match advertised prices.

I've been told by many other retail locations that they'll pricematch anything EXCEPT for Costco; the explanation that I've been given is that Costco sells at wholesale prices, and it's technically a different market and thus a different pricepoint. It's not something a retail outlet is willing to do.

Costco is not considered a retail store. It's a membership based "wholesale" outlet and not included in the price-matching policies. Good luck finding someone dumb enough to slip it through... I'm finding it a battle price-matching between TRU and Walmart anymore.

Spoke to a guy at the Mississauga North location and his store is not listed to get any in, but 'sauga South has 72 on order... for October 23rd.

You know what, I'm cool with that. I can wait a little while longer if it means saving money.

I don't mind waiting either I was just surprised by the date. Works for me though
