Saw the movie opening night. As expected, it felt like I was watching a live action Evangelion. And I LOVE Evangelion. So I loved every bit of this movie. This was the giant robot movie I've wanted to see all my life.

I wish the movie didn't have the romantic undertone, and I could have gone without the cheesy comedy bits.

Loved how they did the kaiju and the fight scenes. You really got a feel for how large these things were, especially the sanfransico bridge scene.
