Re: Year of the Horse Edition MP-10 Optimus Prime

I'm not sure why, but this version of Prime reminds me of Universe Nemesis Prime (Big Convoy). The colours are really jarring but somehow they end up working well together even though they shouldn't. The translucent trailer is the real selling point for me as I think it makes him look incredibly cool in vehicle mode.

Re: Year of the Horse Edition MP-10 Optimus Prime

great pics longshot, thanks for sharing!

Didn't actually realize there was a colour difference until recently. You know the robot mode doesn't look half bad with the gold chrome. The alt mode is still kinda off in my opinion b/c the wheels are not gold chrome, so it doesn't match.

diggin the clear trailer, but I would feel let down too if there was no roller... sad, I agree that a clear roller would have been very cool indeed!

And I agree, when you see that red colour in your hand, it really is nice.

Hips? Never knew about that. Something wrong with the hips?

I don't think there is anything wrong with the hips. Multiplex may be trying to say that the YotH Prime has hip with the red clear plastic detail which may be a better fit for Black convoy MP-10B. Personally the MP-10B hips suits it just fine and does not need to be swapped for the red one.

I may do that. It's just.... I had my Soundwaves/MP-10B shelf all figured out the way I like it.
