Sorry to hear about your trouble, but the CBSA form is easy to use to get money back.

I've gotten back the $5 fee (now $8.50) when they charged the wrong amount, and I've also added-in the price of the stamp as well since it was their error. Things like Returns are easy too since you only need to send them the post-office form as proof saying you've sent it back.

If you write them a clear letter, itemize the total you should pay and provide them with your receipt, you should not have an issue getting your money back. It was quite quick too - within a few weeks IIRC.

TF Club has responded (phew) and are sending an SG Drift...that's really good news since they are sold out.

Not sure about the duty bit at this point...might let that slide if I don't get dinged for the re-ship.

What a pain in the a**... Zuff/Batman, I will say something. I think this is starting to affect Hasbro's reputation!

It's strange that TFCC feels the need to list full price and have us pay duty on purchases but my annual free figure is always listed as $0 and so I never have any duty to pay on it.

I received my Shattered Glass Drift, but got two of the same side gun. I emailed them to ask how to get one opposing one since I'm not going to Botcon. The response? A 1) "too bad you're not going to Botcon to exchange it" (what, really they expect all customers are going!!???) and 2) try talking to a bunch of strangers online, exchange addresses with them and see if you can do a swap in the fandom. 3) If that doesn't work, email TFCC again.

They don't have their stuff together there.
