Re: ROTF : Supreme Devastator (pic, text, and video review)

I'll probably get him, but like everybody else wait for clearance or a sale price to pick him up. I mean 100$ US translates to 150$ CND with the way prices are being handled these days. And we all know how I feel about that from my other post about the Masters of Metallikato 2-Pack.

Not happening anytime soon. An G1 redeco at best, but I seriously doubt it. Hasbro already said they wouldn't do a Premium this time around and that they would focus more on repaints with remolds.

Is this for Devastator only or the whole ROTF line? If they are really not making Premium versions, I will start my ROTF collection.

Re: ROTF : Supreme Devastator (pic, text, and video review)

For the entire line. It was already explained that the Movie 1 Premium line was made to address the unexpected high demand for movie toys when they had nothing else (read: new molds) planned.

Another thing about this Ultimate Devastator: I'm not sure I like how most fans call this toy a "fiasco"/"epic failure"/etc. This is a toy for kids, not hardcore adult collectors... I'm sure kids will love it if their parents can afford one.

Contruction trucks that combine into a robot... Best thing ever for a 5 yr old

I'm thinking of going to the dollar store to get six construction trucks about that size and do my first custom ever ... And save $150+

yeah but sooo much work.. lol, That's why I wants Legends Devs. All Constructicons can transform into individual AND he looks pretty accurate, despite the size.

Yeah... Legends aren't kid friendly because they are delicate and break too easily

I love that this behemoth is not a "parts-former". Not the same as the movie but accurate in appearance non-the-less. But I would still wait for a very VERY good clearance. And even then, I would think about it.
