i personally do not see an appeal in the TFAnimated series. but most of you seem to like them, so there must be something that i'm missing

I think (at least for me) that it is because they are such a radical departure (style wise) from what you come to expect from the TF lines. The toys are very show-accurate (which is impressive given the style) and the transformations are really well done. That and a kick-ass cartoon (finally) to go along with it is what drew me in.

Give it a try and you'll like it... your wallet on the other hand may not be as happy.

And some Legends cassettes - Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, and Ratbat - that all are engineered with the same skill as the Ravage update and that fit in Soundwave.
What Ravage update??? When did that come out? Id love to see a pic. The tapes are still my favorite transformers of all time.

if i ever get the chance to watch the show, i'll give it a chance, i just dont think financially i could collect more than one series.. hahaha.. i collect g1 - originals and reissues, and any transformer that turns into a jeep

financially it's hard lol, i collect g1, japanese g1, masterpiece, classics 1 and 2, alts (done), and animated....hard on the wallet lol, back on track though, what ravage update can we see some pics? or do you mean the one with hound in the new two pack?
