Saved By the ...Screech?

So I watched the Unauthorized: Saved by the Bell movie the other day.

This wasn't a show I was much into, but I usually like movies of tv series.
Has Anybody else seen this?

It was slow moving and not Nearly as controversial as the other cast members complained about.

Since based on Screech's tell all book that everyone was so mad at, it had a cool twist on the time out gimmick from the early seasons.

I let my daughter watch a few episodes. She got hooked. She even watched the college years and the wedding movie. Screech made that show. It's a shame he's all messed up. Didn't he make a porn too? I'm going to have to watch this TV movie. Is it something I can watch with my daughter?

They show alcohol & drug use. Like someone actually smoking weed.
Quite clean on the sex, the worst was a little kissing.
I don't recall any foul language.

The Zach actor was played by the kid from Wingin It and Degrassi. Good fit!

Also, it's told from Screech's point of view. To be fair to the other cast, he was shown the most negative.
But he also gets some sympathy, so it evens out.

Well I think I heard on the news that Screech stabbed a fan in a bar for asking for an autograph. Unsure if the fan survived the ordeal or not. I'm pretty sure if you google it you can find the whole story.

Yeah, Screech goes by the name Dustin Diamond and he's into wamb-bamb-thank-you-mam movies.

Guys a messed up dude, and apparenty not a prime example of a human being.

I remember when they had celebrity boxing. It was Screech VS. Horshack from Welcome Back Kotter. Screech was like twenty years younger, and well, it wasn't much of a challenge. He was merciless and destroyed Horshack. You could see the fear in Horshack's eyes. After the first round, he did not want to tangle with the much younger and much bigger Screech. But Screech didn't care. He just pummelled Horshack.

I read up on this.
Apparently, the stabbing was not life threatening, and the person didn't even notice it at 1st.

Well the plot thickens. Apparently Diamond was at a different bar earlier in the day and threatened to stab someone else for refusing a drink from him.
