I Hate Drift
The local book store had a kids book featuring cute deformed little versions of G1 characters (Robot Heroes) -- G1 Prime, Arcee, Prowl, Bumblebee... and DRIFT.
GAAAH!
I don't mind the character, but I can't stand the fact that he's so strongly pushed as being a G1 character. >:-(

I'm not such a huge fan ever since the comic came out. It was far too dull and kinda killed the character for me.
Plus his big rubber sword kinda ruined the toy.

He's kinda like Boba Fett in A New Hope. He wasn't there when I was a kid, but he is now.

Why is it such a big deal? If you don't like him, don't buy the toy, don't buy the comics and don't buy the kids book. There are a lot of characters I don't like myself. That's why they are not in my collection.

Exactly...there were plenty of annoying and useless characters to begin with in G1, no one is saying you have to like them all...so what's one more? Just ignore it.

Yeah gotta disagree I love him, if only because he reminds me of the bounty hunter that smokescreen ran into in the cartoon, and helps to develop the entire story.
I am loving the entire classics line, and when the collection is mostly complete I will post it on the board. It is the only line I decided to do my best to complete, and I am almost there.
