What constitutes as a large Transformers collection?

I have been wondering, what constitutes as a large Transformers collection?

My collection has almost 1500 Transformers (Not including the addional mini-con type transformers included with some Transformers) and I was wondering if this is a large or medium collection?

Any collection larger than my own.

So yes I think 1500 easily qualifies.

That's huge. If you have more than 50, you have a large collection.

I have around 300 and my wife and friends think my collection is gigantic. If they only knew.

Dude!

1500 is Huge!

I've only got around 100 and most people think that's pretty big.

*EDIT* I just counted

120 Transformers (Give or Take)
20 Non Various Non Transforming PVC's
3 Rock Lords
14 Gobots

Cheers!

I think whenever a collection can cover an entire wall or bookcase loose from box that would constitute a large collection :P

My bedroom is my warehouse, since I have no space.
Would inhaling TF plastic in my room that's older than me qualify as a large collection? lol

I think DJ Soundwave on TFW has the biggest known one, AFAIK

Biggest Canadian collection: I vote for miasboytoy.

Unless another member has a bigger one?

Re: What constitutes as a large Transformers collection?

How about a collection that covers a whole wall, a full crown of shelves around the room, boxed figures under my bed/desk and a mini closet?

I still feel like it's not enough... but I do how ever consider mine a large collection, though I haven't passed 300 yet... It only takes so much room because I have all the big ones (Leader, Ultra, Voyager) in full burst mood wasting a lot of space.

I vote for vectorsigma2 as the biggest collection. He's like two figures away from having G1 boxed and another set opened. Not to mention he has at least 1 of each of every transformer post G1. After that! He has TUB ON TOP OF TUBS just full of extras! I think I found 4 Galvatron BWII there...

I know a couple of guys in Ottawa...one fine gentleman nicknamed "the Fiend" has a count just over 4000...but that does include comics and some non-toy paraphenelia like party favors and stuff. But he has just about every bot I know of.

The other fella is also close to that number...and an impressive number of rare and exclusive items, especially the stuff from victory. There's very few TFs I know of that he doesn't have.

But as people are saying...over 50-100 is getting big, and either very hard to store and/or very impressive to display.
