Comicontoronto?

Im not sure what forum this would go in, so if its in wrong forum could a mod switch, and I apologize in advance.

I was wondering if Comicontoronto is a good place to pick up some TF toys. It seems like a smaller version of FanExpo.

Anyone been? Or any TF vendors attending?

Re: Comicontoronto?

Rarely good bots there IMHO. AnimeNorth has a bit more, TFCON the best, clearly, and FanExpo not bad, but terrible prices because the dealers get raped on tables.

Re: Comicontoronto?

If it's anything like Fanexpo, you can usually find some stuff but the prices are high. You'd be better off going to the upcoming 80"s Toy expo.

Nope, but it's a good place to pick up TF comics...

As others said, toy shows like the upcoming Toy Expo are great places to pick up toys.

And yes. I've been to a couple of these ComiCONs, it's a much smaller version of FanExpo, except there was no video game nor horror sections. As for celebrity autographs, the first time I went, there were only comic book artists.

I guess HobbyStar is trying to spread out the number of people going to FaxExpo by making the smaller shows bigger and better.

Re: Comicontoronto?

Sorry if this is slightly off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread because it sort of relates. FYI to those in and around Vancouver. I just read in the paper we're getting our own Comicon North this year. April 21 or something like that.
