tz101 beginner budget collection UPDATE

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to join up and show you all my collection. I call this my budget collection because ever since having twins 6mo ago my whole life has been on a budget. Basically I bought Hailstorm from the sale rack at zellers one day while toy shopping for my niece and I was instantly hooked. I havent really been collecting them for very long, maybe a year tops. My wife doesnt really mind but I have to follow two rules. One, dont pay full price, two, I can only spend what I get from returning the household empties. Here are the pics.

List of what I have/what I paid. Let me know how you think im doing so far. I really enjoy collecting TFs because its something I can do while grocery shopping since I dont have much time anymore.

Optimus prime, Megatron, Ironhide - $20 ea.

Bumblebee,Sideswipe,Crankcase,Starscream - buy one get one half off

Sunstorm & Ratchet set - $20
Oil Slick - $10

WFC Op, WFC cliff jumper, Blurr, Skullgrin -buy one get one half off

G2 Prime, Bumblebee, Wreck-gar, Turbo Tracks - $8 ea.

Tuner Skids, Jetblade, Hailstorm, Skids&Mudflap Ice Cream - $10 ea.

Breacher, Hubcap, Oil Pan - $6 ea.

Welcome aboard! You have a nice start to your collection. Bits from various lines. Anytime you can score one for less then retail you've done well. As you get deeper into the plastic crack addiction the "rules for spending" become harder to follow. Just like a real addiction.

Nice start to your collection! I know how it is to be buying on a budget. With all of the figures I've missed (Wreck-Gar, ROTF Bruticus, Thunderwing, and various Universe/ Classics figures) and the new ones coming out, it is getting harder and harder to stay in my budget.

One thing I suggest if you want to find older figures at reasonable prices, check the sales threads, there are some great deals to be had.

You know, I bet Starscream's weapons would look pretty cool on Crankcase...

If they have any left, you should find a way to pick up Starscream too.

Its her favorite toy now she sleeps with it. She also got quite a few barbies a woody doll and bee is still her fav. it makes me so happy haha. Anyways long story short my wife was in walmart yesterday and she came home with these and told me since i hadnt bought any lately she was happy to buy me some small ones. she has absolutely no knowledge or intrest of transformers and this is what she brought me !
