Monthly for me. I only collect official MP and G1, with G1 taking a backseat for now. With Takara now primed to release what appears to be on a monthly basis starting 2016, it will be one purchase a month for me. If I see a steal of a deal for a G1 figure I'll grab it.

I'm right here as well. Maybe even less. My last purchase, Devastator from Magnus stretched for more than a month or two.

In previous years, I'll admit I just bought just for the sake of buying or to have something just say I left the store (TRU, WM or local specialty toy store) with something.

Found it very odd and felt very much like an addiction more than a hobby. Kinda like how it was with video games back in the day.

Yeah. Much like video games nowadays it's leveled down.

I wonder what's next.

I thought about it and went with biweekly/weekly.

Since getting back into collecting with FOC Prime and Masterpiece Acid Storm I've been playing catch up with both Masterpiece and Gen/Uni/Classics and buying replacement G1 parts and decals.

My WFC/FOC collection is almost complete, but I have a G1/IDW based Generations collection rolling now, and I'm still getting UW Devastator, UW Bruticus, Victorion, TCSS Thunder Mayhem, and Sky Reign. But I'm pretty sure that I'll be giving Titan Wars a pass other than the odd figure like Rewind or Galvatron.

But with 11 previous MPs still to get and 12 coming up, even if I cancelled my TCSS and stopped buying UW/CW I'd still be getting a figure a month. Once I'm done with UW/CW and WFC/FOC I'll be 96% focused on Masterpiece and G1, only picking up the odd Generations figure here and there. Or so I tell myself.

I've been generally getting stuff from friends in the US every six months or so. Not sure what to do now that the dollar stinks. Thinking about maybe picking up the FP dinos that are already in the country this year, then maybe waiting til TFcon next year for any 3P stuff. Really hoping we don't see another step up on deluxe/voyager price in Titans Return or whatever they're calling that subline...

I will say however that while I can wait months for a box, once I've got it I can't pace myself at all and waiting for it is pure giddiness.

Not gonna lie though: It's nice as a grown adult to feel pure, innocent delight at getting mail.
